The winning run of LUNA A INBHIR NIS has to come to an end sometime, but a 6lb penalty may not be enough to stop her after she made it three in a row when winning by a length at Musselburgh after a well-timed run. Beaujolais Nouveau goes up 2lb for future races after her Thirsk second and, with Archie Young claiming 5lb, she looks a huge danger, followed by Yarmouth winner Forager from the one stall. |
BOYNE LADY can strike again while the iron's hot having opened her account last time when well backed to land a class 5 handicap. She had to battle hard then but kept finding showing a fine attitude. Before that she was 5th of 22 over course and distance on fast ground (a neck behind Cape Sovereign and two pounds worse off but she was less favoured by the draw and didn't get the early position she prefers). Cape Sovereign himself has fair claims but may have to settle for minor honours. Luna A Inbhir Nis has every chance of landing a four-timer and looks the principal threat, while Winchurch is another with more to come and could play a big part again, along with Dothan who may arrive a bit late to grab the spoils |
