I AM I SAID struggled in the Group 3 Classic Trial at Sandown on his reappearance. Subsequently gelded, the son of Almanzor gets another chance to prove his latest running all wrong, and build on the promise shown when returning the ready winner on the Rowley Mile here last autumn. Noble Horizon is steadily improving and found only one too good at Chepstow last time, while Native Spirit will likely have come on for last month's debut at Nottingham. |
I AM I Said was put firmly in his place in Group 3 company on comeback run in late April having weakened out of it over 1m2f but can get back to winning ways in less lofty company. The trip is still a doubt but he stayed strongly over a mile in soft ground on his only other run and it's worth chancing it was the quality of opposition more than the trip that was repsonsible for his undoing last time. Noble Horizon woulnd't need to improve dramatically on form so far and has less worries over the trip having gone close over it last time and it shouldn't be too long before he opens his account. He can make a contest of it, as could Native Spirit who made a promising debut last time and can get in the mix if showing reasonalbe improvement |

Off a break, seemed not to stay up in trip and class beaten 9l in bet365 Classic Trial (Group 3) at Sandown last time; off a short-break; stamina still to prove but strong form claims |
