Call Me Betty got off the mark at Wolverhampton and competes in a handicap for the first time, but the vote goes to LUMINOUS WARRIOR. The son of Kingman produced a career-best performance when third over a mile here earlier in the month and could take full advantage of a 1lb lower rating. CALL ME BETTY showed enough last time when opening her account in a class 5 maiden to suggest a mark of 66 is well within her compass and is taken to land the top prize. She has to prove she can cope with very different underfoot conditions than she's experienced so far but that's true of many and it's worth chancing she can. Tam Lin is very interesting making her UK/stable debut having enjoyed a good year in Ireland with two wins and a number of other solid runs in defeat. She ran well in heavy ground wehn 6th of 16 where her stamina was tested to the limit over a mile. A big run looks on the cards in a first time hood. Hunky Dory and Me Tarzan have claims but of greater interest is Unforgetable Belle who has labourted both runs this term but ended last with a nursery win on handicap debut in deep ground at Leicester over 7f. She possibly didn't act on Tapeta first time out this season and was too keen before being hampered and eased last time. She wouldn't have troubled the principals then but certainly would have been a lot closer and this deeper ground will play to her strenghts.
