Lightly raced on turf in recent times, the Johnny Murtagh-trained DAAMBERDIPLOMAT could represent some value. A maiden winner over course and distance, the five-year-old has shown up well in three subsequent visits to this track. Nicely drawn and fit from a recent all-weather campaign, the son of Cotai Glory has plenty in his favour. The handicapper has also given the gelding a chance by dropping him down to his last winning mark. Having shaped with plenty of promise over 5f here on his reappearance, the Eddie Lynam-trained Keke should appreciate the additional furlong and is noted along with stablemate Collective Power. |
The hugely progressive KEKE gets the verdict at his favoured venue. He was a big drifter here on reappearance but still ran well having missed the break on unsuitably soft ground and should find conditions much more in his favour here. Heavenly Power landed a gamble on his final start of last season and may be the biggest danger if building on his reappearance. Mehman was in good form on the AW over the winter and returns to turf off a generous mark on that. He could complete the places. |

Probably needed race down the field in a handicap over 7f at Naas most recent; usually consistent; down in trip; off a short-break; others better treated |
